The systems feature innovative microphone distribution boxes that deliver significant cost savings and flexibility for users:
* Converge 590 allow customers to connect their preferred microphones, such as wireless, tabletop, button and podium using industry-standard XLR connectors.
* The Converge 590 distribution box transports microphone signals over a single Cat 5 cable back to the mixer via distribution boxes significantly reducing on-site wiring complexity and installation time.
* Converge 590 also include an intuitive controller for simple user operation, eliminating the need for more expensive control systems and delivering a much lower total system cost.
The Converge 590 includes:

The Converge 590 comes with the same equipment but adds a third distribution box.

Microphone Distribution Box

Converge 560 - two boxes. Each box contains three industry standard XLR microphone connectors. Boxes are daisy-chained from mixer using standard RJ-45 cables. Boxes can be rack-mounted with mixer or strategically positioned throughout room to minimize microphone cable runs.
